Supports the G2's Special Security Office functions, ensuring proper handling, safeguarding, and accountability of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) in accordance with DoD and IC security directives.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer day-to-day Special Security Office (SSO) functions supporting SCI access, indoctrination, and accountability.
- Process SCI access requests, visit certifications, and indoctrination/debriefing actions in coordination with the Government SSO.
- Maintain SCI personnel access rosters and required security documentation.
- Support SCIF physical security compliance and inspections in coordination with government security personnel.
- Advise assigned personnel on SCI handling, storage, and reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Special Security Representative, SSO Assistant, or equivalent SCI security administration role.
- Working knowledge of ICD 703/705 and DoD SCI security policy and procedures.
- Current, active TS/SCI clearance is a hard prerequisite for this position.
- Strong attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive personnel security information.
- TS/SCI required at hire — NO interim clearance accepted for this position.
- This is one of the highest-risk labor categories on this contract for staffing timeline — active TS/SCI required at hire, zero interim flexibility.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (contractor personnel performing work under this contract shall be U.S. citizens unless AR 25-2 provisions are fully completed and the Government grants approval for a non-U.S. citizen).
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate effectively, in person and electronically, with co-workers, customers, and the public.
- Must obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) within 10 workdays of contract award commencement; CAC issuance requires, at minimum, a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) or higher per Army Directive 2014-05.
- May NOT begin substantive work while CAC or system access is pending — this is a hard gate under this contract.
- Must complete Anti-Terrorism (AT) Level I awareness training within 30 calendar days of commencing performance.
- Must complete iWATCH training within 30 calendar days of contract award (new employees: within 10 calendar days of start, reported within 15 calendar days).
- Must register in the Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) and complete DoD Information Assurance Awareness training prior to accessing Government information systems, and annually thereafter.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and conduct standard at all times (business casual or formal attire per USARCENT Headquarters Dress Code Policy); may not perform work under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or other incapacitating agents.
- This is a non-personal-services position: the employee is accountable to the Contractor, not directly supervised by the Government.
