Project Coordinator / Business Analyst (Junior PM)

Schedule Full-Time. Core hours 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Minimum 2 days on-site per week, up to 3 days telework, after a mandatory 2-month full-time on-site acclimation period.
Personnel Status Non-Key Personnel
Security Must be able to pass a criminal history check and fingerprinting, and be issued a USCP identification/access badge, prior to starting work.

About the Role

This role supports IT project delivery within a PMO by facilitating requirements gathering, managing backlogs, assisting Agile/Kanban/Waterfall ceremonies, and supporting general project coordination activities, working closely with stakeholders, developers, and project managers.

What You'll Do

  • Support requirements gathering, user story development, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement in tools such as JIRA and Teams Planner.
  • Assist with sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Support UAT planning, documentation, and coordination activities as needed.
  • Maintain project documentation in Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, or similar platforms.
  • Prepare and update project materials including schedules, agendas, status reports, and action logs.
  • Coordinate project meetings, capture meeting notes, and follow up on assigned actions.
  • Support milestone tracking, timeline updates, and dependency monitoring under PM direction.
  • Assist with PMO governance activities, including risk/issue tracking and routing documents for review and approval.
  • Provide communication support by developing draft stakeholder updates and reporting inputs.
  • Perform general PMO support as needed, including data entry, project record maintenance, and logistics coordination.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience providing administrative, coordination, or project support services.
  • Ability to organize information, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using collaboration and workflow tools, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Teams Planner, and Planner Premium.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Business Analysis or Agile practices (e.g., ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, CSPO).
  • Experience working with Agile delivery tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Ability to perform basic data analysis and create process models or workflow diagrams.
  • Familiarity with project management concepts, workflows, and tools; experience supporting IT projects.
