Bailey Information Technology is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to support the USARCENT Staff Augmentation Program. The Maintenance Specialist tracks equipment readiness, manages maintenance records, and coordinates scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions for assigned equipment and vehicle fleets.
This position requires a current, active Secret security clearance. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance level for the duration of the assignment in support of USARCENT.
Work is generally performed in a standard office or garrison environment. May require prolonged sitting, use of a computer, and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. Duties may require entry into austere or field environments as mission dictates.

Position Summary
Duties and Responsibilities
- Track equipment readiness status and generate maintenance status reports for command review.
- Maintain maintenance records and work orders using GCSS-Army or equivalent maintenance management systems.
- Coordinate scheduled services, PMCS, and unscheduled repairs with maintenance shops and support units.
- Monitor parts requisitions and follow up on outstanding maintenance requests.
- Ensure maintenance actions comply with AR 750-1 and applicable technical manuals.
- Support command maintenance meetings and prepare readiness briefings.
- Assist in tracking warranty, recall, and safety-of-use message compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a maintenance discipline preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in military or DoD equipment maintenance management.
- Working knowledge of Army maintenance regulations and readiness reporting procedures.
- Experience with GCSS-Army or comparable maintenance management information systems.
- Current Secret security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior military 91-series (Maintenance) MOS experience or equivalent.
- Experience supporting fleet management for tactical wheeled vehicles or generators.
- Familiarity with Command Maintenance Discipline Program (CMDP) requirements.
