The G4 requires contractor support for Operational Contract Support acquisition analysis, contract integration, and command contract portfolio management, supporting logistics operations across supply, munitions, maintenance, and transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and track operational contract support requirements across the USCENTCOM AOR.
- Support contract integration planning, ensuring contracted support aligns with operational plans and command logistics priorities.
- Maintain visibility of the command's contract portfolio, tracking contract status, performance, and risk.
- Coordinate with contracting officers, program managers, and logistics staff on OCS requirements and issues.
- Support development of OCS-related planning products, briefings, and after-action reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in operational contract support, contracting, or acquisition analysis within a military or DoD environment.
- Working knowledge of DoD contract integration planning processes (e.g., Joint Publication 4-10 OCS doctrine).
- Strong analytical and briefing skills; comfort working across contracting, logistics, and operations staff.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard DoD logistics/contract tracking tools.
- SECRET clearance required.
- Note: The RFQ's Schedule of Supplies/Services references this position as “Acquisition Analyst” (4 FTE) — confirm authoritative title via RFI before finalizing job postings.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (contractor personnel performing work under this contract shall be U.S. citizens unless AR 25-2 provisions are fully completed and the Government grants approval for a non-U.S. citizen).
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate effectively, in person and electronically, with co-workers, customers, and the public.
- Must obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) within 10 workdays of contract award commencement; CAC issuance requires, at minimum, a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) or higher per Army Directive 2014-05.
- May NOT begin substantive work while CAC or system access is pending — this is a hard gate under this contract.
- Must complete Anti-Terrorism (AT) Level I awareness training within 30 calendar days of commencing performance.
- Must complete iWATCH training within 30 calendar days of contract award (new employees: within 10 calendar days of start, reported within 15 calendar days).
- Must register in the Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) and complete DoD Information Assurance Awareness training prior to accessing Government information systems, and annually thereafter.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and conduct standard at all times (business casual or formal attire per USARCENT Headquarters Dress Code Policy); may not perform work under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or other incapacitating agents.
- This is a non-personal-services position: the employee is accountable to the Contractor, not directly supervised by the Government.
