About the Role
The G4 supports operational contract support acquisition analysis, contract integration, and command contract portfolio management. In this role, you'll help the command maintain visibility and control over its contracted support.
What You'll Do
- Analyze and track operational contract support requirements.
- Support contract integration planning, ensuring contracted support aligns with operational plans and logistics priorities.
- Maintain visibility of the command's contract portfolio, tracking status, performance, and risk.
- Coordinate with contracting officers, program managers, and logistics staff on requirements and issues.
- Support development of related planning products, briefings, and after-action reviews.
What You'll Need
- Prior experience in operational contract support, contracting, or acquisition analysis within a military or DoD environment.
- Working knowledge of DoD contract integration planning processes.
- Strong analytical and briefing skills; comfort working across contracting, logistics, and operations staff.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard DoD logistics/contract tracking tools.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Must be able to complete a favorable background investigation appropriate to the position within the first week of starting, and obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) within the first two weeks.
- Must complete required security, anti-terrorism, and information assurance training within the first 30 days, and annually thereafter.
- If the position requires a security clearance, must complete annual threat-awareness and operations-security refresher training.
- Professional appearance and conduct consistent with a military headquarters environment.
- No travel required for this position.
