The G2 requires contractor support for a variety of intelligence-related functions essential for mission success, spanning the full intelligence cycle from collection to dissemination across multiple intelligence disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track current intelligence operations and reporting relevant to the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
- Prepare and update intelligence summaries, running estimates, and situational awareness products for command staff.
- Coordinate current operations intelligence requirements across G2 sections and with higher/adjacent headquarters.
- Support watch/battle-rhythm functions, ensuring timely dissemination of time-sensitive intelligence information.
- Maintain current operations tracking tools and databases.
Required Qualifications
- Prior military or DoD intelligence operations experience, particularly in a current operations or watch-floor capacity.
- Working knowledge of the intelligence cycle and Army/Joint intelligence reporting formats.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive operational environment.
- Experience with standard DoD intelligence systems and databases a plus.
- SECRET clearance required at hire — interim clearances will NOT be accepted for this position.
- No interim clearance accepted — active, favorably adjudicated SECRET clearance required at hire.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (contractor personnel performing work under this contract shall be U.S. citizens unless AR 25-2 provisions are fully completed and the Government grants approval for a non-U.S. citizen).
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate effectively, in person and electronically, with co-workers, customers, and the public.
- Must obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) within 10 workdays of contract award commencement; CAC issuance requires, at minimum, a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) or higher per Army Directive 2014-05.
- May NOT begin substantive work while CAC or system access is pending — this is a hard gate under this contract.
- Must complete Anti-Terrorism (AT) Level I awareness training within 30 calendar days of commencing performance.
- Must complete iWATCH training within 30 calendar days of contract award (new employees: within 10 calendar days of start, reported within 15 calendar days).
- Must register in the Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) and complete DoD Information Assurance Awareness training prior to accessing Government information systems, and annually thereafter.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and conduct standard at all times (business casual or formal attire per USARCENT Headquarters Dress Code Policy); may not perform work under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or other incapacitating agents.
- This is a non-personal-services position: the employee is accountable to the Contractor, not directly supervised by the Government.
