Junior Network Administrator

Position: Junior Network Administrator

Primary Location: Washington, DC 20534
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift

Clearance Required: Public Trust Clearance — must be able to obtain and maintain prior to performance

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as a member of the network team responsible for keeping the network running efficiently
  • Ensure all computers and network-connected devices (routers, hubs, switches) are operating correctly
  • Respond to network anomalies causing network issues under direction of the lead Network Administrator
  • Assist in routine network monitoring and maintenance tasks
  • Escalate complex issues to the senior Network Administrator as needed

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 4 years of networking experience
  • CompTIA Network+ Certification can substitute for 1 year of the required 4 years of experience

CERTIFICATIONS
  • CompTIA Network+ — substitutes for 1 year of required networking experience
