TS/SCI Case Management Support-Security Specialist— Skill Level 2

Overall Assignment: Case Management Support
The Role: Join our team to keep personnel security (PERSEC) cases moving—accurately, on time, and in full compliance. You’ll be the hub for case intake, tracking, metrics, and reporting, partnering with leadership and customers to resolve issues quickly while maintaining impeccable records across enterprise systems. What You’ll Do:
Case Management & Execution
Provide case management support across established PERSEC programs; manage assignment, tracking, prioritization, and reporting of cases.
Monitor case progress to meet IRTPA/DNI timelines; elevate bottlenecks and propose solutions.
Respond promptly to phone/email inquiries and maintain distribution lists for customer outreach.
Policy, Procedures & Guidance
Provide agency-level technical expertise on personnel security disciplines and SOPs.
Research, prepare, and maintain PERSEC procedures/guidance; assist with improvement recommendations.
Prepare, support, and administer PERSEC program briefings.
Records & Systems
Maintain accurate, real-time updates in PeopleSoft (Investigations & Adjudications modules), CUSTOMER SharePoint Pages, PERSEC shared drives, and internal file structures.
Ensure files/folders are clearly labeled and searchable per Investigations/Adjudications Branch criteria; maintain “latest” versions and archive history.
Receive and route Electronic Deliveries (eDels) from customer’s Investigation Service Provider to CUSTOMER branches.
Biometrics & External Requests
Process electronic fingerprinting per customer policy, including RapBack enrollment/maintenance; coordinate ink fingerprinting when required.
Process Other Government Agency file-procurement requests for National Agency Checks (NAC).
Reporting & Metrics
Produce Weekly Activity Reports (WAR) per template/timeline.
Build DNI Quarterly Metrics reports (to Govt. lead ≥3 business days before suspense).
Prepare customer monthly metrics slides (deliver by the 7th business day); maintain metrics on COE/SBU shares.
Brief customer leadership and KC stakeholders on program requirements, regulations, and status.
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI (Poly Preferred).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience related to personnel security.
3–6 years personnel security experience within the DoD/IC.
Demonstrated attention to detail applying PERSEC case-management methodologies.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent written communication (clear, concise reports/white papers, professional correspondence).
Strong organization and follow-through to meet timelines and Federal Investigative Standards.
Nice to Have:
Experience with PeopleSoft PERSEC modules; SharePoint site/page administration.
Familiarity with IRTPA/DNI mandates and executive-ready metrics packages.
Experience with RapBack processes and coordination of NAC requests.
Comfort briefing leadership and coordinating across government stakeholders.
