Position: Program Manager Location: Washington, DC Clearance Required:Active Public Trust
Overview We are seeking a highly qualified Program Manager to serve as the primary liaison between our organization and the U.S. Government stakeholders, including the Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), agency leadership, and other key personnel. This individual will be responsible for leading the overall performance of a federal contract, managing teams, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and maintaining effective communication across all levels of the program.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the sole authorized representative of the Contractor for contract-level communication with the Government CO, COR, and agency representatives.
Provide overall program leadership, strategic guidance, and oversight to meet or exceed contract objectives.
Establish, enforce, and continuously improve work standards and practices.
Assign schedules and responsibilities to contractor staff; monitor and review work for quality and compliance.
Supervise and mentor program personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Communicate company policies, goals, and expectations to project teams.
Track, manage, and account for all Government-furnished equipment authorized for on-site or off-site use.
Make all staffing decisions under the task order and ensure appropriate resources are allocated to meet project goals.
Maintain strict adherence to all contractual, regulatory, and policy requirements.
Ensure timely delivery of all contract deliverables and performance metrics.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support, service management, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience managing personnel across multiple functional areas in a government contracting environment.
Proficiency with automated office and reporting tools, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of:
IT services and applications
Networking and communications systems
Industry-standard protocols
Federal IT security and device configuration standards
Proven experience in task coordination and team oversight.
ITIL v4 Foundations Certification (required).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience with Project Lifecycle Methodologies (PMLC).
Familiarity with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) frameworks.
